Mastermade European Violin Mid 20thC

This instrument has a rather sweet and mellow character, and is able to project very easily. The E string has a great brilliance, and handles the upper end of the fingerboard very well. The A and D strings hold an even tone between each other and the G string is very robust and powerful. This violin has very good dynamic range, and it is easy to alternate rapidly between a pianissimo and a fortissimo.

It has a two-piece back with medium flame, and a lighter flame on the ribs. The front piece has a consistent tight grain and a light golden vanish.

This would be an excellent instrument for tertiary or talented high-school student.
