German Violin Circa 1910- Guarnerius model

This instrument was crafted by an unknown maker in Germany around 1910. It sports a yellow honey coloured varnish on top with tight grain that widens towards the edges, and a lush birds eye maple back. It carries a full and robust tone, the high G-string plays without choking and the high E-string plays with a sweet and penetrating tone. This instrument is capable of projecting above ensembles and a piano in solo and concerto playing and would be very well suited to a High-School or Tertiary student.
