This instrument has a wonderfully radiant and rich tonal quality which makes it an absolute delight to play. The D and A string are especially melodic, have strong overtones and capable of a very powerful sound. And as is to be expected of a fine viola, the G and C strings are immensely rich and capable of a deep warm sound. This viola is also produces a marvellously clean tone with good feedback to the ear, and is very responsive under the fingers making fast technical playing much easier.

It has a one piece back with medium but very vibrant flame, and a rich red and orange vanish. The front has a tight grain and a luminous transparent vanish.

This instrument would be best suited for advanced players.
