German Cello 18thC

This unique antique german instrument has a magnificently round and rich tone. This Cello’s lush tones on the C and G strings are excellently complimented by a sweet and melodious sound in its upper register. The instrument was made in the late 18th century in Klingenthal by an anonymous maker. It contains the hallmarks of being crafted by a true master and an instrument of this nature and make is truely one of a kind. This cello is highly recommended by Vivaldi’s.

It has a light brown two-piece back with light flame and matching sides. The front has a consistent even grain, and brown/medium brown vanish.
