Manfred Gregoric 1988 Violin

Manfred Gregoric trained at Mittenwald in Germany. He worked for Wurlitzer in New York; then later in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. He finally returned to Germany suffering from ill-health. Gregoric was primarily occupied with repair work, but also made a small number of violins.

This Manfred Gregoric violin was made in 1988 and has a slightly smaller body which makes it very easy to play in the upper positions. It has a sweet, sonorous sound and would suit an intermediate to advanced player.
