Violin by Justin White, Australia 2021, Stainer Opus 125

This Stainer-patterned violin was crafted from one piece of wood for the top and a lightly flamed two-piece back. This fine instrument, named Opus 125 on its maker’s label was finished with an orange brown oil varnish.

The tone is sweet and even across the register with a focused sound.

Justin White is a luthier based in Sydney, who specialises in creating fine bowed and plucked instruments using both traditional and baroque designs. All his instruments are crafted from high quality traditional and selected Australian timbers. Designed and priced to appeal to discerning musicians of all levels, including professionals.
