Violin by Justin White, Australia 2021, Amati Opus 126

This violin is warm and sweet with a surprisingly strong tone for such a small instrument.

The top is made from one piece of fine quality wood and the two-piece back features medium flame which is highlighted by the light brown oil varnish. It is named Opus 126 on the maker’s label.

Justin White is a luthier based in Sydney, who specialises in creating fine bowed and plucked instruments using both traditional and baroque designs. All his instruments are crafted from high quality, traditional and selected Australian timbers. They are designed and priced to appeal to discerning musicians of all levels, including professionals.

This fine master level instrument will suit up to professional level use. It is based on the Nicolò Amati’s 1649 Alard.
